Throughout her prolific professional career, Dr. Sinziana Stanescu has focused her healthcare activity in two main areas. On the one hand, she is a pediatrician with a special interest in intensive care techniques and protocols that are best applied to children and adolescents. And, on the other hand, she has developed numerous investigations on metabolic diseases and eating disorders that can appear in the early ages.

Although her initial medical education took place in Romania, for several years she has been practicing at the Ramón y Cajal University Hospital.
