Dr. María Magdalena Salcedo Plaza is a Medical Specialist in Hepatology, as well as in Hospital Management and Research Methodology. After more than 30 years of experience as a specialist in her area, she has forged an outstanding career that has led her to occupy positions such as Head of the Digestive System Medicine Section and Medical Coordinator of the Liver Transplant Unit at the Gregorio Marañón General University Hospital in Madrid.

She also combines her work with teaching and her projects as a Medical Researcher in the area of Digestive System Medicine.
