Diego Carmona Talavera is a biochemist, specialized in Clinical Analysis, an area in which he has extensive professional experience. In this field he works for the Foundation for the Promotion of Health and Biomedical Research of the Valencian Community (Fisabio).  

He is also a member of the Commission of New Specialists (AEFA) and has devoted an important part of his career to teaching in the field of Molecular Biology and Genetics, as well as Cytology, Histology and Embryology.
