Dr. Hirune Cembrero Saralegui's academic training has been focused on the specialty of Dermatology. In particular, she has investigated the impact of different infectious skin diseases in children and adolescents.  

For her studies, and the application of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, she has made use of novel tools such as digital dermoscopy and confocal microscopy. She is the author of several scientific articles where she focuses on the analysis of different pathologies through ultrasound scans and other innovative technologies.
