Experience

For almost 20 years, Dr. Héctor José Aguado Hernández has been linked to different Traumatology clinical units. In these scientific-assistance spaces, he has dealt in depth with fragile and perioprosthetic fractures, among others. Likewise, he has a wide research interest in Sarcopenia, investigating the prevalence, diagnosis and treatment of the disease. His studies in this regard have allowed him to promote different mechanisms to prevent falls and promote early recovery of those suffering from this disease.  

On the other hand, Dr. Aguado Hernández develops an Orthogeriatrics Unit and is an active collaborator of the prestigious ZimmerBiomet Institute. He is also an active member of the AO Trauma initiative. In addition, the expert is co-author of the book "Nutritional status of HIV-positive patients in Valladolid" and has been in charge of the elaboration of chapters in other texts. He has also carried out surgical volunteer work in countries such as Cambodia.
