Oncologist Esteban Nogales Fernández is a member of the Medical Oncology Service of the University Hospital Virgen Macarena, mainly in the National Reference Unit for Adult Intraocular Tumors.  

He has participated in international clinical trials, the results of which have led to a new standard of treatment for advanced breast cancer that increases life expectancy. He has also published articles in scientific journals of international impact.
