Dr. Santiago Figueroa Almánzar is an experienced thoracic surgeon specializing in minimally invasive surgery, with a particular focus on sublobar pulmonary resections. Throughout his career, he has worked in various prestigious centers, including the General University Hospital of Valencia, where he has served as a Specialist Physician in Thoracic Surgery. In addition, he has developed a work of assistance, research and development, being key in the development of a specific program of Minimally Invasive Thoracic Surgery.

He has also been elected Coordinator of the Teaching and Continuing Education Committee of the Spanish Society of Thoracic Surgery, reflecting his leadership in the training of specialists in his field.
