Specializing in fields such as vision therapy, optical aids and visual rehabilitation and low vision, Dr. Mercedes de Lamo Requena has an extensive professional career in the field of Optometry. She has worked in centers such as IVOP Institut Valencià d`Optometría, where she holds the position of technical director, or in other centers such as Centro CIOC and Vissum Oftalmología. 

Her training includes stays abroad, more specifically at the Pacific University College of Optometry in the United States, where she specialized in Behavioral Vision, Evaluation and Training of Binocular Vision, Visual Perception and Strabismus and Amblyopia, as well as in the management of Visual Problems Secondary to Brain Injuries.
