Emilio Calvo Crespo is a Doctor specialized in Orthopedic and Traumatologic Surgery, whose professional performance and ambition to progress in this area have allowed him to become the head of the Department of Orthopedic and Traumatologic Surgery at the Infanta Elena University Hospital and the Jimenez Diaz Foundation.  

In the same way, he has been elected president of the European Society of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery. Parallel to his activity, he has also authored and co-authored more than 80 publications in scientific journals, has written 4 books and has collaborated in chapters of more than 60 works.
