Member of different entities dedicated to Gynecology and Obstetrics such as the Catalan Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology or the Spanish Society of Gynecology and Obstetrics, Dr. Xavier Urquizu has dedicated his professional career to this clinical field, developing various functions in the homonymous service of the Mutua Terrassa University Hospital. 

His interest is Maternal-Fetal Medicine, a subject for which he has been trained in various academic institutions and to which he has devoted a good number of publications in his long professional career.
