Postgraduate Certificate in Pediatric Optometry
The treatment of visual disturbances in children requires a series of solid theoretical and practical knowledge regarding the functioning of the optical system during this stage and the most effective techniques for the detection of such imperfections. For this reason, at TECH Global University we have created this Postgraduate Certificate in Pediatric Optometry, whose curriculum covers the principles of aberrometry, the metrics for measuring visual quality and the classification of clinically significant aberrations, with special emphasis on external and internal ocular aberrations. Subsequently, everything related to aberrometric changes induced on the cornea and those induced by crystalline lens surgery and intraocular lens implantation is covered.
