The field of Parasitology has taken up a large part of the scientific studies in which Dr. Rodrigo Morchón García has been involved. With a degree and PhD in Biological Sciences, Morchón García soon felt a special interest in this area.
After completing his doctoral thesis on Cellular and molecular mechanisms of the vascular pathology of cardiopulmonary dirofilariasis. The role of filariae and endosymbionts of the genus Wolbachia, Morchón García promoted his career as a researcher in which he has more than 100 scientific articles, 9 book chapters and 7 contributions in congresses and 8 research projects.
