As a specialist in Anatomic Pathology and coordinator of the national network in sarcomas, Dr. Empar Mayordomo Aranda has dedicated her more than 15 years of professional career to the early detection and classification of different types of tumors. All this accumulated experience has made her the Head of the Anatomic Pathology Department at the Hospital La Fe in Valencia. 

Since she finished her official training she has not stopped working in anatomic pathology, mainly in hemapathology and musculoskeletal pathology, being national coordinator of Bone Pathology of the Spanish Society of Anatomic Pathology. She combines this professional activity with that of associate lecturer in different universities. 

The academic and professional merits of this doctor are countless, participating in multiple national and international research projects. Her most important lines of research include Hemapathology and Musculoskeletal Pathology.
