In the professional career of Dr. José Gómez Rigal, the scientific and healthcare responsibilities he has managed to achieve stand out. Among other functions, this expert is Head of the Immunology Service at the Clinical University Hospital of Santiago de Compostela. He is also Director of the Immunogenetics Laboratory, Coordinator of the GENVIP Vaccine Research Group and External Advisor to the Spanish Association of Pediatrics.

He also serves as Auditor for the European Federation of Immunogenetics and is a member of the committee of experts in Precision Oncology of the Autonomous Community of Galicia. On the other hand, he participates in more than 15 national and international projects dedicated to various aspects of analysis and is the author of numerous academic articles.
