Dr. Khusama Alkadi Fernández is a specialist in Pediatrics, with special interest in the area of Dermatology and Clinical Research, a field in which she has developed several lines of study and an R+D+i project called the Incap Project, to improve the care of patients with type 1 diabetes who use continuous insulin infusion systems, optimizing the time and quality of clinical follow-ups. 

Within her clinical work, it is worth mentioning the work done at the Puerta de Hierro Hospital and the Ramón y Cajal University Hospital in Madrid, where she works as a Specialist Area Physician attached to the Pediatrics Department. In addition, it is worth highlighting the international experience obtained during her stays in hospitals in Switzerland, Austria and Germany. 

She has extensive scientific and technological experience which she has developed from the Puerta de Hierro Majadahonda Health Research Institute and numerous publications, scientific and technical documents that serve as a reference for medical students and new professionals in this discipline.
