Dr. Pilar Zamarrón Fuertes is a Medical Specialist in Microbiology and Parasitology, Expert in Multiresistant Bacteria and Antibiotic Resistance, although with a lot of experience and preparation in other areas of her specialty. After an outstanding training and professional career in several prestigious hospitals in the city of Madrid, she has become an Area Specialist in the Microbiology Service of the Virgen de la Salud Hospital in Toledo. 

In addition to her healthcare activity, she has always dedicated an important part of her work to Clinical Research and Medical Teaching. She has authored and co-authored several books, published a large number of articles and participated in more than fifty communications in national and international congresses.
