Experience

With just over three decades in the practice of Emergency Medicine, Dr. Tomás Villén Villegas has accumulated multiple experiences in the management of complex thoracic trauma and the use of ultrasound technologies for diagnosis and monitoring. His career and care results have been collected in multiple scientific articles. In addition, he is the author and co-author of several books describing protocols for the advanced use of imaging equipment in the management of hospital emergencies.  

For more than five years he served as a postgraduate collaborator at Harvard University and developed a study stay at the renowned Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
