For more than a decade, Dr. Rosario Vicente Guillén has been at the head of the Anesthesiology and Resuscitation Service of La Fe Hospital. She began her professional career in that same institution and gradually became linked to that section, taking part in different surgical procedures, including a high number of liver transplants.  

In addition, he has carried out several scientific investigations within the same field of Anesthesiology, becoming part of the Spanish team that developed the first local protocol for extracorporeal membrane oxygenation. She has also collaborated with study projects on blood saving in surgery.
