Dr. Vicente Modesto is a Pediatric Specialist who in recent years has been in charge of the Pediatric Intensive Care and Resuscitation Unit of the La Fe University Hospital in Valencia, where he has made a great contribution through his constant research and studies based on his own experience in improving techniques and use of diagnostic and therapeutic methods for effective care in Intensive Care Medicine. 

Respiratory Diseases have been the focus of several of his publications, as well as non-invasive mechanical ventilation or high flow oxygen therapy, for which he has recently made an evaluation of the changes in ventilation practices for Bronchiolitis in the hospital ward and need for transfer to the ICU during the last decade.
