Nurse Claudia Martínez Picón knew from her first years of academic training that she wanted to dedicate herself to assisting in childbirth. That is why she focused her career in the Midwifery Unit of the University Hospital of Ceuta, where she was able to help deliver a large number of babies. A rewarding experience, which she continued at the Hospital Costa del Sol. 

At the same time, she has promoted the study and scientific research, contributing to the analysis of various situations of pregnant women before, during and after childbirth, as well as the care of the midwife who attends women in the emergency room in the face of gender violence.
