Dr. Vicente Monsalve Dolz is a specialist in Clinical Psychology with special training and experience in the treatment of pain, having as a flag his study on the necessary reality of a psychological intervention in the treatment of chronic pain.  

He works as a physician in the Functional Unit of Clinical and Health Psychology within the Multidisciplinary Unit for the Treatment of Pain in the Consortium General University Hospital of Valencia and combines this work with that of Professor of Medical Psychology and Psychopathology in the Faculty of Medicine at the Catholic University San Vicente Martir of Valencia. 

At the same time, he remains as a Researcher at the Research Foundation of the General University Hospital of Valencia where he has developed several lines of research, such as the study of psychological predictors of quality of life in patients undergoing Neuromodulation techniques for the treatment of chronic pain and personality profiles and resilience in chronic pain that have made him a reference in this field.
