Dr. Xavier Maldonado Pijoan, Specialist in Radiation Oncology, is a high caliber professional in the field of research. In this sense, he has focused on the study of the interaction of androgen deprivation with radiotherapy in the context of hypofractionation, as part of the Vall d'Hebron Institute of Oncology. His excellent activity in this field has been his great endorsement to occupy the Vice-Presidency of the National Commission of Radiation Oncology of the Ministry of Health.
