With an extensive experience in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Teresa Higueras is Head of the Obstetric Ultrasound Unit of the University Hospital Vall d'Hebron. She combines this position with research work in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at VHIR, as well as in the Multidisciplinary Unit of Placenta Accreta of the same hospital. 

Her clinical interests are focused on the study and knowledge of the fetus by ultrasound technique, providing assistance to pregnant women at risk and requiring specific exploration using this technique.
