Dr. Carmen Cebreros Urzaiz is a renowned Curator and Researcher specialized in curatorial and museum studies, with a particular interest in the connection between art, history and local dynamics. Her work is characterized by the exploration of narratives that link specific cultural contexts with the global sphere, which has allowed her to stand out in the field of visual arts. Among her most outstanding curatorial projects are exhibitions such as “Una trilogía de cuevas” and “Iconográfika Oaxaca: Contemporary Prints, Photos and Works on Paper”, where she has combined contemporary and traditional approaches to generate deeply reflective artistic experiences.

Throughout her career, she has served as Curatorial Coordinator of emblematic programs, and has contributed significantly to the development of platforms that promote current artistic practices. In addition, she has been recognized with the Miguel Covarrubias Award for her outstanding contribution to the analysis of museums, consolidating her position as a reference in the field of curatorial research.
