Dr. Alexandre Perera Lluna has dedicated his entire professional career to research related to data science and its methods applied to the clinical and bioinformatics fields. He is Director of the Biomedical Research Center of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia.

Among his achievements is the European project Share4Rare in which his team participates with the aim of creating a platform that brings together the entire ecosystem of rare diseases in a single community to share knowledge and transform these diseases into better known pathologies.
