Dr. Paloma Bas Hermida, who has an extensive professional career, is a specialist in Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology. Within this field, she has dedicated a large part of her professional career to the treatment of the spine, which has enabled her to work in the Spine Unit of the University Hospital and Polytechnic of La Fe. 

Her passion for teaching has led her to hold the position of associate professor in postgraduate university studies. Likewise, her vocation for communication has allowed her to be co-author of several scientific publications and speaker at conferences related to her medical specialty.
