Dedicated to Medical and Surgical Retina, Dr. Mónica Asencio Durán has focused her professional career in Ophthalmology. Her dedication in this area has been maximum. Her drive and perseverance led her to found the Intraocular Tumor Unit at the University Hospital La Paz in Madrid and to contribute decisively to the advancement of diagnostic techniques and treatment of various ocular pathologies affecting adults and children.
