Meat quality and infectious diseases are the focus of the research studies of Veterinarian Sofía Gabriela Zurita, who has developed her scientific activity at the Veterinary Clinical Hospital of the University of Extremadura, being also a member of the Infectious Pathology research team of that academic institution.
Dr. Zurita's professional activity and academic training has been developed between Argentina and Spain, two countries where she has been able to broaden her academic training and experience in the diagnosis of biological samples and in the approach to various pathologies in small animals and equines. Her great interest in the world of ruminants has led her to constantly update her knowledge, with teachings on Equine Cardiology and Sexually Transmitted Diseases in Cattle, making her an expert in this field.
