Dr. Iratxe Zarragoikoetxea Jáuregui has developed an intensive research activity in the area of Anesthesiology and Resuscitation, a medical field in which she is a specialist. His scientific papers have received hundreds of citations, especially his articles on transfusions in cardiac surgery. 

He is also a member of the Spanish Society of Anesthesiology, Resuscitation and Pain Therapy (SEDAR), and has carried out his professional work at the La Fe Polytechnic and University Hospital.
