Dr. María Teresa Lázaro Carrasco de la Fuente is a Specialist in Pneumology with special interest in the field of Lung Transplantation, in which she has specialized in recent years both from the academic, occupational and research point of view.  

She works as an Area Specialist in the Pneumology Service and in the Lung Transplant Unit of the University Hospital Puerta de Hierro Majadahonda, as well as previously in other public and private healthcare centers. 

At the same time, she has been able to combine clinical activity with research and teaching, being Associate Professor of Health Sciences in the Department of Medicine of the aforementioned hospital and the Universidad Autonoma of Madrid, among other exclusive postgraduate programs for the training of new health professionals.
