Haydee Goicochea Briceño is a Nurse Specialized in Multiple Sclerosis. Her project La labor de Enfermería en Esclerosis Múltiple has been awarded the First Prize of Solidarity with Multiple Sclerosis, granted by the Merck Health Foundation. She is also a member of the Multiple Sclerosis Study Group of the Spanish National Society of Neurological Nursing. 

In her professional career, she has worked at the Gregorio Marañón General University Hospital, in Madrid, as a Nurse in the Units of: Intensive Care, Emergency, Maternal-Child, Medical Specialties and Specialized Consultation in Multiple Sclerosis. It is also noteworthy her work in the Biomedical Research Foundation of this hospital and in the Emergency Department of the Infanta Sofia University Hospital in Madrid.
