Dr. Ricardo Bou Monterde has an extensive and distinguished career in the field of Preventive Medicine and Epidemiology. Regarding the latter discipline, he has received excellent training in prestigious international institutions such as the School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine of the University of London.   

He masters different epidemiological methods to assess control strategies and outbreak investigations, with special emphasis on Nosocomial Infections. In addition, it is possible to find multiple academic articles on these topics under his rubric. He collaborates closely with the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control.
