Dr. Elena Trigo Esteban, a specialist in Internal Medicine, is an expert in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases imported from tropical countries or contracted during stays abroad. For this reason, she has had the opportunity to develop her functions in the Tropical and Travel Medicine Unit of the Carlos III Hospital-University Hospital La Paz.  

She also has medical experience in the Emergency Department of the Hospital Infanta Cristina and has worked as Clinical Coordinator in the Hospitalization Area with COVID-19 patients in the hardest phase of the pandemic. She has also authored and co-authored several articles related to Tropical and Traveler's Diseases.
