With an outstanding academic and professional career, Dr. Angel Ortillés Gonzalo has established himself as a reference in Veterinary Ophthalmology. Throughout his career, he has been responsible for both research and teaching, contributing to the advancement of Veterinary Ophthalmology, especially in the field of Regenerative Medicine and Corneal Lesion Treatment. 

Dr. Ortillés has held key positions in several veterinary hospitals, including his current position as Head of the Ophthalmology Department. His clinical experience is complemented by a deep research work, having worked in areas such as the Treatment of Chronic Corneal Lesions with Stem Cells and the Use of Corneal Collagen Crosslinking Techniques. He has also conducted pioneering research on the efficacy of Cyclosporine in cases of Corneal Graft Rejection and Corneal Tissue Characterization using Advanced Applied Mechanics Techniques. In short, his contribution to Veterinary Ophthalmology has positioned him as an academic and professional reference in his field.
