Dr. Juan José Camacho Parejo is an outstanding physician and health manager, with an exceptional professional career in various fields of health. He has worked as a urologist in several prestigious hospitals in Spain, including the Río Hortega Hospital, the Jove Hospital (Gijón) and the Nuestra Señora del Prado Hospital (Talavera de la Reina). 

He has also held several senior positions of great responsibility, turning his career towards healthcare management, such as Deputy Medical Director at the Hospital Nuestra Señora del Prado, where his leadership skills and strategic vision led him to be appointed Medical Director at the Integrated Care Management of Talavera de la Reina. He has also held the position of Director of Hospitals in the General Directorate of Healthcare of the Castilla-La Mancha Health Service (SESCAM). 

Additionally, Dr. Camacho Parejo has excelled as Director General of Public Health of the Community of Castilla-La Mancha, obtaining direct responsibility for managing the COVID-19 pandemic in the region, serving also as General Coordinator of the COVID-19 Vaccination Strategy. In this sense, his leadership was crucial in the implementation of Public Health measures and in the coordination of the health response to the pandemic crisis. 

It should be noted that he has been Director of the Center for Analysis, Documentation and Evaluation of Health Policies of SESCAM, contributing to the development and improvement of health policies in Castilla-La Mancha and applying his vast experience, both in health care medicine and health management.
