Dr. Pedro Fenollosa Vázquez has an extensive career and an outstanding curriculum as a specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, focused on Pain Treatment.

Since his beginnings at La Fe University and Polytechnic Hospital, he developed special interest in this subject due to the need that existed for specialized units in this field, so he decided to direct his skills to this area and initiate the work to promote the service in this hospital center and also founded the Spanish Pain Society. 

For all this great work, he has received the Best In Class Award for the best Pain Unit in Spain on two occasions. Likewise, as a researcher, thanks to his clinical trial together with other experts, he achieved the approval of the Spanish Ministry of Health for the intrathecal infusion treatment of baclofen for spasticity. 

He has been an invited speaker at international congresses, author and editor of books, book chapters and numerous publications, as well as university lecturer and thesis director, as an expert in Radiology and Physical Medicine, Ultrasound Management for interventional treatment, Physiotherapy Treatment and adapted exercise or treatment with minimally invasive interventional techniques.
