Dr. Rosa María Romero's international career has led her to join the Pediatric Urology team of several British centers. These include Oxford University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, St. George's University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and Evelina London Children's Hospital. All this experience has earned her the position of Head of the Section of Pediatric Urological Surgery at the Virgen del Rocio University Hospital. 

Her scientific interest is focused on multiple areas such as the study of Neonatal Pediatric Urology, Pediatric Endourology and Pediatric Transplants of various kinds. Precisely, she has been part of multidisciplinary teams of pediatric renal transplantation, as well as different sexual development and Epispadias Exstrophy Complex at the University Hospital Virgen del Rocio.
