Dr. Emma Lombraña Álvarez is recognized in the Gijón region for her work in the area of Pediatric Emergencies for her outstanding work as a Pediatrician Specializing in Neurology. 

She has been dedicated to the investigation of bacterial and viral diseases. Among his work highlights the Acute Ataxia in pediatric patients.

In addition, he has participated in different congresses and lectures on neurological disorders in pediatric patients in different parts of Spain, as well as in bacterial pathologies in neonates. It is worth mentioning his intervention in the XLIII Annual Meeting in its online edition of the Spanish Society of Pediatric Neurology where he made a presentation on Peripheral Mononeuropathy: a forgotten entity in Pediatrics.
