Dr. Carlos del Fresno has developed his career in the field of Biomedical Research related to Immunology, performing this activity in up to five different laboratories, one of them in Italy. He has been extensively trained in quantitative PCR, multiparametric flow cytometry and tumor and infectious processes, with experience in both human samples and mouse models.  

He has a multidisciplinary profile in the self-management of his research projects, so he is an expert in the management and development of research projects, including grant applications, experimental design or statistics.  

He develops as a Miguel Servet Researcher being Group Leader of the Research Institute of the Hospital la Paz. He is also a founding partner of Empireo SL, a company specialized in diagnostics based on Molecular Biology and has been incorporated as a university lecturer of exclusive online postgraduate programs with an international focus.
