Experience

The healthcare activity, focused on Pediatric Infectious Diseases and Rheumatology, was the starting point of the excellent professional career of Dr. Esmeralda Núñez Cuadros.

Specializing in Pediatric Rheumatology, her clinical work and leadership skills have led her to direct and collaborate in various clinical trials projects of the Ministry of Health and the Carlos III Health Institute. Her constant scientific activity places her as one of the leaders in this field, with more than 60 publications indexed in high impact journals.

Her medical work is developed in a hospital in Spain that is at the forefront in the area of Rheumatology, a specialty in which she has been involved, and belonging to scientific societies such as the Spanish Society of Pediatric Rheumatology.

  • Coordinator of the Group of Prevention and Treatment of Infections in Pediatric Rheumatology of the Spanish Society of Pediatric Rheumatology (SERPE).
