Experience
Dr. Samuel Navarro Fos is internationally recognized for his participation and discoveries, from the area of pathology, in the Ewing's Tumor Study (PROTHETS). The Pediatric Solid Tumors Translational Research Group, which he directs, has become a European reference for establishing phenotypic and genetic prognostic factors in Euroblastic Tumors.
He has also participated in the conformation of different therapeutic protocols for the intervention of Neuroblastic Neoplasms, as well as the analysis of their Hypoxia and Angiogenesis. Another of his merits is the authorship of the SEAP/SEOM consensus guide for the determination of biomarkers in Colorectal Cancer. He also assumes the role of national coordinator of the anatomopathological studies and the European Neuroblastoma Protocols.
