Dr. Sebastián Sánchez Cánovas is an anesthesiologist with a broad interest in the study of certain drugs in surgical interventions in cardiac patients. This led him to create the book Papel de los corticoides en cirugía cardiaca: controversias y nuevas tendencias (The role of corticoids in cardiac surgery: controversies and new trends) with which he contributes to clarify and establish the main pros and cons of it. 

Over the years, he has developed his clinical activity in several first level hospitals, which has also allowed him to advance in his scientific career, being numerous his participation in national and international congresses. In addition, his deep knowledge of Anesthesiology, Sedation and Resuscitation has allowed him to be part of actions to update the skills of medical professionals.
