Doctor María Amparajo Sanahuja Santafé, specialized in Pharmacology, has dedicated a large part of her professional career to the study of traditional and native medicinal plants of the Valencian Community. This has led her to the discovery of numerous alternative treatments for anxiety states, based on both Cell Biology and Technological Innovation.

This work has brought her several awards, including the RÖEL award, which values her contribution to the study of the medicinal potential of plants both in the present and in the future.
