Doctor Salvador Máñez Aliño is an eminence in Pharmaceutical research. He has been working on the development of a genetic drug to cure Cancer, with genetically modified cells, which allows "silencing" the genes responsible for the "tolerance" to the tumor, in order to neutralize the infected cells. This developed system has been published in the journal OncoTargets and Therapy.
Author of multiple scientific publications, he has also been the author of Història succinta de la Farmàcia Aliño of Editorial Galers. He is also co-author of the book Farmacognòsia: de la natura al medicamento and other publications of interest in the area of Pharmaceutics and Phytotherapy.
He has also participated in the research of a technique of Adequate Preservation and Early Immunosuppression to improve organs by means of Hepatic Graft. He has been a member of the scientific committee of the IV Food Week, organized by the Association of University Dietitians and Nutritionists (ADINU). He was part of the scientific committee of the 11th Congress of the International Society of Ethnopharmacology and the 1st Spanish-Portuguese Meeting of Ethnobiology.
