Tomás Domingo Rufes is an expert in Pain Treatment, he graduated Cum Laude as a Doctor at the University of Barcelona with his work "Application of ultrasound-guided puncture in the treatment of Chronic Pain". From there he forged a successful career as a Specialist in Anesthesiology, Resuscitation and Pain Therapy at the University Hospital of Bellvitge, where he works as a Physician in the Chronic Pain Unit. 

In addition, he founded together with a team of doctors in different specialties the multidisciplinary Center for the study and treatment of pain Barnadolor, also located in Barcelona and from where he provides his services in a personalized way.  

It is characterized for treating Chronic Back Pain, Complex Regional Pain Syndrome and Neuropathic Pain. Also for the use of Ultrasound in this field, of which he has conducted several investigations and publications.
