Dr. José Miguel Soriano del Castillo is a Nutrition Specialist, a Professor and an outstanding Researcher with more than 50 book chapters and more than 100 articles in high impact scientific journals. This Doctor of Pharmacy has become a reference in his area with contributions on the health problems caused by miracle diets and changes in the nutritional status of patients undergoing bone marrow transplants.
As for his professional background, Soriano del Castillo has worked as Director of: Food & Health Lab, Gastrolab-Fernando Sapiña, the Joint Research Unit in Endocrinology, of the Instituto de Investigación Sanitaria La Fe, and the Observatory of Nutrition and Food Security for the Developing World, both institutions of the University of Valencia.
In addition, this Doctor has been in charge of the First Mother's Milk Bank in Lima (Peru) and has developed International Stays in: Agence Française de Sécurité Sanitaire des Aliments (France), Akershus University College (Norway), Istituto Superiore di Sanità (Italy) and National Research Center (Egypt). His extensive work has earned him numerous awards that consecrate his career.
