With a clinical and professional career of close to two decades of activity, Dr. Rosa María Jiménez Rodríguez has been fully dedicated to the field of surgery and Coloproctology. Among her milestones is the patenting of a surgical technique to assist patients with multiple interventions in the abdomen, in addition to researching the monitoring and diagnosis of surgical wound infections on an outpatient basis through telemedicine.
She is a specialist in the Coloproctology unit of the Virgen del Rocio University Hospital, having also formed a team at the Puerta del Mar University Hospital. She also dedicates part of her research to Minimally Invasive Surgery, being recognized by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Singularity University for a stay at the NASA campus.
