Experience
Fascination for the athletic field led Dr. Fernando Jimenez Diaz to the study of Sports Medicine. In the course of his professional career he has developed a broad specialization in the ultrasound diagnosis of musculoskeletal injuries resulting from physical activity. From his knowledge and experience, he has published more than 120 publications and books, such as his ECO MSK collection with an exhaustive compilation of the most common conditions in shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand, hip, knee and the last one of ankle and foot that can be detected by clinical imaging.
In parallel to his research in the field of health, he has served as a medical advisor to several sports teams, completing 11 seasons with the professional basketball team Fuenlabrada. In addition, he is founder and director of Medical Sportoledo, a group that brings together healthcare professionals specializing in musculoskeletal injuries throughout Spain.
