Dr. Mónica Domínguez Gimbernat is a Veterinary Specialist in Equine Clinical Care. She has vast experience in the area of Internal Medicine and Equine Reproduction, in which she decided to sub-specialize academically. She has worked as a care professional responsible for large nationally referenced stud farms, as well as in the COVECA center in charge of promoting the health of its members. She has also held coordinating positions in officially recognized quarantine centers for the export of horses to third countries.

Since obtaining her degree she has combined research, first for her doctoral thesis and then for scientific dissemination, with teaching and clinical work in the Equine Reproduction Service of the Complutense Veterinary Hospital.
