Dr. Marta Arsuaga Vicente is an acclaimed specialist in Tropical Diseases, whose clinical and research work has always been linked to this field.  

Arsuaga Vicente was one of the doctors responsible for treating one of the first cases of Ebola in Spain at the University Hospital La Paz, where she has developed most of her excellent career. The World Health Organization also relied on her professionalism to deal with the Ebola crisis in Barbados, St. Lucia and Grenada. 

The effort, perseverance and continuous interest in the various imported pathologies have led Arsuaga Vicente to have nearly 50 publications in national and international journals. These articles have been cited more than 800 times and consulted more than 3,000 times. Her contribution in this field is very high, becoming over the years one of the leading professionals in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with Tropical Diseases.
